The chronic nature of asthma and the treatments and asthma equipment needed to manage asthma can place a heavy disease burden on those living with it.

Add to that the episodic nature of asthma, it adds another level of complexity to the symptoms experienced and management. Asthma can be quite unpredictable! It heavily dictates the activities those living with asthma can and cannot do, if they need to pre-medicate before certain activities, and the most difficult aspect of it all, trigger management.
